    Chemical stripping is a process designed to remove paint and other finishes. Through this process we are able to clean the underlying surface, thus renewing the metal surface back to its original bare metal state. The application of a water-soluble rust inhibitor is applied during the final processing stage, which if kept dry, will last approximately 2 weeks.

    Media blasting uses high-velocity abrasive particles to alter surface texture or remove contaminants. It smooths, roughens, or cleans surfaces effectively. At Xpress Metal Cleaning, we combine stripping and media blasting for efficient, high-quality surface preparation and finishing.

  • We can strip or media blast various shapes of steel, wrought iron, castings & forgings, copper, galvanized steel, die cast zing, aluminum and other materials.

  • Our pricing is based on the amount of time spend to strip your items as well as the size & number of paint layers. Our team uses a small device that tests the thickness of the paint on the items we strip. Items can we quoted over the phone, via email or in person at our Phoenix location. 32nd Street & Broadway in Phoenix (Address 3402 E. Wier Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85040) If you would like a quote over the phone please make sure pictures are available for reference. Media blasting is $175 per hour. Not all items take the full hour this depends on how large your piece is & the quantity of items you bring in.
